Charlie Grice is a middle distance runner from Brighton and the current British outdoor 1500m champion.
The 22-year-old represents the Brighton Phoenix Athletics Club, which was founded by Olympic champion Steve Ovett.
A promising footballer, Charlie decided to concentrate on athletics after picking up a few injuries. He burst onto the athletics scene in 2010, breaking the English Schools 1500m Championship record and winning a bronze medal at the inaugural World Youth Olympics in Singapore.
In 2014, at the age of 20, he won his first senior national title at 1500m becoming the youngest person to do so. He went on the make both finals at the Commonwealth Games and the European Championships.
Last year, Charlie retained his British senior 1500m title and finished 9th at the World Championships in Beijing.
Charlie is also a sports science student at St Mary’s University in Twickenham.
