At 6ft 6in and 17 stone, Joe Joyce is on course to be one of the big hits of the Rio Olympics.

Joe won gold in the men's super heavyweight division at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and lifted the title in the 2015 European Games in Baku.

Joe qualified for Rio after a win over Magomedrasul Majidov, who is the last man to beat Anthony Joshua. At the Rio Games, Joe claimed a silver medal in the men's super-heavyweight boxing event, losing on a split decision against France's Tony Yoka in the final.

30-year-old Londoner Joe, who has a 2:1 university degree in fine arts, is something of a gentle giant outside of the ring.  Painting is one of his passions and one day he hopes to realise his dream of opening his own studio and holding an exhibition of his work.
