Vicky Holland grabbed the headlines when she won Britain's 62nd medal at the Rio Olympics with bronze in the women's triathlon.
Vicky was a nationally ranked swimmer and long-distance runner while at school but only discovered triathlon at Loughborough University in 2005.
2014 was a massive year for Gloucester-born Vicky. She secured her first major individual medal with a bronze at the Commonwealth Games and bettered that with a gold in the mixed team relay alongside the Brownlee brothers.
Vicky has stepped up even more in the 2015 season proving she is one of the world’s best. She notched up two individual wins on the ITU circuit. Along with these impressive wins she has consistently achieved podium finishes throughout the season with a crucial 3rd at the Grand Final in Chicago, which secured her place at the Rio Olympics.
